Position: Senior PLC Programmer – Industrial Automation

We are looking for an experienced PLC Programmer with strong hands-on experience in industrial automation and SPM machines.

The candidate should have complete practical experience in PLC programming, Ladder Logic, machine sequence development, sensors, troubleshooting, debugging, and machine commissioning.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- 3–5 years of strong hands-on experience in PLC Programming.
- Strong practical experience in Mitsubishi PLC.
- Experience in Delta PLC programming.
- Excellent knowledge of Ladder Logic programming.
- Experience in developing PLC programs based on machine sequences.
- Ability to modify, debug, test, and troubleshoot PLC programs.
- Strong knowledge of PLC Inputs & Outputs (I/O).
- Hands-on experience with industrial sensors.
- Knowledge of proximity sensors, photoelectric sensors, limit switches, pressure sensors, etc.
- Experience in sensor integration and troubleshooting.
- Strong experience in SPM / Special Purpose Machines and Industrial Automation.
- Experience in machine sequence development and automation logic.
- Strong PLC troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Experience in machine commissioning and trial runs.
- Knowledge of HMI programming and PLC-HMI communication.
- Knowledge of VFD, Servo Drives, Relays, Contactors, and Pneumatic Systems.
- Valuable understanding of electrical control panels and panel wiring.
- Ability to read and understand electrical circuit diagrams.
- Experience in customer-site installation and commissioning is an added advantage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES





- Develop and modify PLC programs for SPM and automation machines.
- Develop Ladder Logic according to machine sequence requirements.
- Program and configure Mitsubishi and Delta PLCs.
- Perform PLC debugging and troubleshooting during machine trials.
- Test and troubleshoot PLC Inputs and Outputs.
- Configure and troubleshoot industrial sensors.
- Interface sensors, actuators, motors, VFDs, servo systems, and other automation devices.
- Develop and modify HMI programs.
- Identify and rectify PLC and automation-related faults.
- Perform machine testing, debugging, and commissioning.
- Support machine installation and commissioning at customer locations.
- Maintain PLC programs and proper program backups.
- Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Design, and Assembly teams.

PANEL WIRING KNOWLEDGE Panel wiring is not the primary responsibility of this position. However, the candidate should have sufficient knowledge to:

- Understand PLC I/O wiring.
- Trace sensor and actuator wiring.
- Understand control panel connections.
- Read electrical control drawings.
- Identify basic electrical/panel-related issues.
- Coordinate with the electrical/panel wiring team during commissioning.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

- Experienced PLC Programmer only.
- Freshers are NOT required.
- Strong hands-on PLC programming experience is mandatory.
- Mitsubishi / Delta PLC experience is preferred.
- Strong Ladder Logic knowledge is mandatory.
- SPM / Industrial Automation experience is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills required.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period are preferred.
