Job Title: Senior Power BI Developer / Business Intelligence Engineer

Location: Visakhapatnam, AP, India (or remote/hybrid BI roles)

Role Summary

Results-driven BI qualified responsible for designing enterprise-grade Power BI dashboards, building advanced DAX models, and developing scalable ETL pipelines. Skilled in data modelling (star/snowflake schema), Row-Level Security (RLS), Power Query (M), and performance optimization across cloud data platforms including SQL Server, Microsoft Fabric.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop enterprise Power BI dashboards and reports across HR, Procurement, Finance, Accounts Payable/Receivable, General Ledger, and Inventory domains
- Build advanced DAX measures, KPIs, calculated columns, and dynamic visuals with drill-through filters and slicers
- Apply Star Schema/Snowflake Schema data modelling best practices; optimize models for performance
- Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) to enforce data governance and role-based access
- Develop Python-based ETL frameworks to extract, transform, and load data from Oracle EBS/SAP into SQL Server data warehouses
- Integrate ETL scripts within SSIS packages; automate execution via SQL Server Agent job scheduling




- Design full-load and incremental-load strategies with delta-column filtering and centralized pipeline configuration
- Convert legacy SQL (Oracle EBS views) to T-SQL, resolving data type mismatches
- Lead migration of legacy reporting tools (e.g., SAP BusinessObjects) to Power BI, including Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse architecture
- Collaborate with stakeholders on DEV-to-PROD migrations, UAT, and production issue resolution.
- Enable multi-source analytics by integrating Power BI with SQL Server, and Microsoft Fabric.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Technology/Computer Science or related field
- Experience with SAP BusinessObjects-to-Power BI migrations
- Experience with ServiceNow for ticket/SLA management
