Summary- UST is looking for a skilled and experienced Senior PHP Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in back-end development, hands-on experience with PHP frameworks, and a passion for building scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain web applications and APIs using PHP and associated frameworks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and other developers. Lead technical discussions and propose architectural solutions to ensure system scalability and maintainability.

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that follows industry best practices. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications for performance and security. Stay up to date with emerging trends, tools, and best practices in software development.

Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality output.

Required Skills & Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in PHP development with a solid understanding of object-oriented principles. Proficiency with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter. Solid understanding of front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.

Experience with RESTful APIs development and integration. Database management skills with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar RDBMS. Familiarity with version control systems like Git. Strong understanding of web security, authentication, and performance tuning.



Ability to work in agile/scrum development environments. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues.

Preferred Skills- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Exposure to microservices architecture. Soft Skills- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
