Role Overview The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for assessing customer network and cloud connectivity requirements, designing on-premises, cloud and hybrid network solutions, implementing and configuring network infrastructure across these environments, resolving complex technical issues, and ensuring successful project handover.

The role requires someone who can independently own on-premises and cloud networking implementation projects, work directly with customers and technology partners, and ensure that every solution is delivered securely, accurately, and within agreed timelines.

Experience Required

Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in enterprise network design, implementation, migration, troubleshooting, and support, including hands-on experience with cloud networking and hybrid connectivity in Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.

Key Responsibilities





- Assess customer network environments and design secure, scalable on-premises, cloud, and hybrid network solutions.
- Prepare HLD/LLD, network architecture diagrams, BoM, implementation plans, and migration strategies.
- Implement and migrate LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, SD-WAN, routing, switching, firewalls, and cloud networking solutions.
- Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, VPNs, cloud VNet/VPCs, subnets, route tables, NSGs/security groups, and load balancers.
- Provide L2/L3 technical support, incident resolution, RCA, and preventive actions within agreed SLAs.
- Manage end-to-end network projects, including planning, implementation, testing, customer coordination, sign-off, and handover.
- Maintain network diagrams, configurations, IP plans, SOPs, MOPs, backups, as-built documents, and knowledge-base records.
- Coordinate with customers, OEMs, ISPs, vendors, and internal teams for implementation and issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with change-management, approval, backup, rollback, security, and documentation processes.
- Conduct knowledge-transfer sessions and support smooth transition to Operations/Support teams.

Technical Skills

- Strong knowledge of Enterprise LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, SD-WAN, VPN,



WLAN, DNS, DHCP, NAT, QoS, and network security.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS networking, including VNet/VPC, subnets, routing, VPN gateways, NSGs/security groups, load balancing, and hybrid connectivity.
- Experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Aruba, Juniper, Sophos, Check Point, or equivalent platforms.
- Proficiency in network monitoring, troubleshooting, packet analysis/Wireshark, hardening, backup, migration, and rollback procedures.

Education & Certifications

- Bachelor’s degree/diploma in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.
- CCNP Enterprise or equivalent preferred.
- Azure Network Engineer, AWS Advanced Networking, or relevant OEM certifications are an advantage.

Key Performance Expectations

- Deliver network implementations within approved scope and timelines.
- Maintain high standards of design, configuration, security, and documentation.
- Resolve incidents within agreed SLAs and proactively identify risks.
- Complete as-built documents, SOPs, and handover records within 2 working days of project closure.
- Ensure successful customer validation, knowledge transfer, and project sign-off.
- Maintain customer satisfaction of 4/5 or above.
