About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Database Administrator (DBA) with broad data platform expertise to maintain and optimize our relational, in-memory, message queuing, and analytical data stores. You will be responsible for the health, scaling, high availability, and operational efficiency of our entire data ecosystem across MySQL/MariaDB, RabbitMQ, Redis, and ClickHouse.

Responsibilities

- Administer, tune, and scale production MySQL / MariaDB databases (Galera Cluster, Master-Slave replication, backup/recovery, query optimization).

- Manage, monitor, and scale ClickHouse clusters for fast real-time analytics and time-series data storage.

- Configure and maintain RabbitMQ clusters to ensure high throughput, zero message loss, and low latency for microservices.

- Manage Redis clusters and instances for caching, session persistence, and memory usage optimization.

- Implement automated monitoring, backup, failover, disaster recovery, and security protocols across all database and messaging platforms.

- Collaborate with backend software engineering teams to optimize schema design,



slow queries, and data pipelines.

Requirements

- 7+ years of hands-on experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) or Data Platform Engineer.

- Deep operational expertise with MySQL or MariaDB in high-load production environments.

- Hands-on experience administering RabbitMQ, Redis, and ClickHouse.

- Robust scripting skills in Shell / Bash, Python, or Go for database automation and maintenance tasks.

- Solid understanding of Linux system administration, storage I/O, database security, and hardware sizing.

Pay: ₹2,300,000.00 - ₹2,700,000.00 per year
