We are looking for an experienced Senior Microbiologist to manage and supervise microbiological testing activities in the laboratory. The role involves ensuring the microbiological quality and safety of raw materials, in-process materials, finished products, water, environmental samples, and production areas in accordance with applicable food safety, quality, and laboratory standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day microbiological testing and laboratory activities.
- Conduct microbiological analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, water, swabs, and environmental monitoring samples.
- Perform testing for TPC, yeast & mould, coliform, E. coli, Salmonella, Staphylococcus aureus, and other relevant microbiological parameters as per product requirements and approved methods.
- Monitor environmental hygiene and microbiological conditions across production and processing areas.
- Establish and monitor environmental monitoring programs, including air, surface, equipment, personnel, and water testing.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Food Microbiology and Microbiological Testing
- Knowledge of GMP, GLP, HACCP, Food Safety, and Hygiene
- Experience in environmental monitoring and swab testing




- Good understanding of laboratory documentation and data integrity
- Experience in handling microbiology laboratory equipment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good team management and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and laboratory documentation systems

Experience: 5–8 Years Qualification: M.Sc. / B.Sc. in Microbiology or equivalent

Preferred Industry Experience

Experience in Food & Beverage, FMCG, Dairy, Frozen Food, Ready-to-Eat Food, Bakery, Spices, Sauces, Pickles, or other food-processing industries will be preferred.
