About the Role

Profound Group is looking for a highly experienced Senior MEP Engineer with 15 years of hands-on experience in managing MEP services for high-rise residential and commercial projects.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in MIVAN / Aluminium Formwork construction, large-scale residential developments, commercial buildings and high-rise projects. The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordination, execution, quality control and timely completion of all MEP works in coordination with architectural, structural and project teams.

The role requires a strong technical professional who can independently manage MEP activities from design coordination through execution, testing, commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage complete MEP activities for high-rise residential and commercial projects.
- Plan, coordinate and monitor MEP works from project commencement through completion and handover.
- Strongly coordinate MEP services with MIVAN / Aluminium Formwork construction methodology.
- Review MEP drawings, shop drawings, coordinated drawings and construction drawings.
- Coordinate MEP requirements with architectural and structural drawings.
- Identify and resolve MEP clashes before and during execution.
- Coordinate with consultants, architects, structural engineers, contractors, subcontractors and site teams.
- Prepare and monitor MEP execution schedules in line with the overall project schedule.
- Ensure timely execution of MEP works as per approved drawings and project specifications.
- Supervise and monitor contractors and subcontractors for quality, progress and workmanship.
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure MEP works are executed as per approved specifications and standards.
- Monitor material requirements, approvals, procurement and delivery schedules.
- Check and approve MEP material samples and ensure materials comply with project specifications.
- Ensure proper coordination of MEP services within slabs, walls, shafts, corridors, ceiling spaces and service areas.
- Coordinate embedded MEP services and openings required during MIVAN shuttering/formwork activities.
- Ensure sleeves, conduits, pipes, inserts, electrical boxes and other embedded services are completed before concrete pouring.
- Coordinate with the structural team to avoid rework, cutting or drilling after concrete works.
- Monitor MEP installations across multiple floors and ensure proper sequencing with civil works.
- Conduct regular progress reviews and report project status to management.
- Identify project risks, delays and technical issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure proper testing, commissioning and completion of MEP systems.
- Coordinate preparation of as-built drawings, testing reports, commissioning documents and handover documentation.

MIVAN / High-Rise Experience – Mandatory The candidate must have strong practical experience in MIVAN / Aluminium Formwork construction and understand the specific MEP coordination requirements involved in high-rise projects.

Experience should include

- MEP coordination with MIVAN shuttering/formwork.
- Planning of electrical conduits and boxes before slab/wall casting.
- Coordination of plumbing sleeves and embedded pipes.
- Coordination of electrical and plumbing shaft requirements.
- Coordination of openings, sleeves, inserts and block-outs.
- Reviewing MEP requirements before every slab cycle.
- Ensuring all embedded services are completed before shuttering closure/concrete pouring.
- Coordination with MIVAN/formwork and civil teams.
- Floor-wise MEP execution planning.
- Managing repetitive floor cycles and ensuring MEP activities remain aligned with the civil construction cycle.
- Minimizing rework, hacking and post-concrete modifications.
- Strong understanding of MEP requirements in high-rise residential towers.

Project Experience Required

Candidates should have substantial experience in:

- High-rise residential apartment projects
- Luxury residential developments
- Large-scale commercial buildings
- Multi-tower developments
- High-rise towers
- Clubhouses and amenities
- Basements and parking structures
- MIVAN / Aluminium Formwork projects
- Large-scale integrated MEP projects

Experience in projects involving multiple high-rise towers will be preferred.

Design & Coordination

- Review consultant MEP designs and identify execution issues.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary drawings.
- Review shop drawings and technical submissions.
- Conduct MEP coordination meetings.
- Assist in BIM/clash coordination wherever applicable.
- Coordinate MEP services with structural beams, slabs, walls, shafts and architectural requirements.
- Ensure constructability of MEP designs.
- Review BOQ and identify quantity requirements.




- Support value engineering and cost optimization initiatives.

Project Planning & Execution
- Prepare detailed MEP execution plans.
- Monitor daily and weekly progress.
- Coordinate MEP activities with civil and finishing schedules.
- Plan manpower, materials, tools and equipment.
- Monitor contractor productivity.
- Track project milestones.
- Identify delays and implement recovery plans.
- Maintain proper site records and documentation.
- Ensure works are completed within approved timelines and budgets.

Quality & Safety
- Ensure MEP installations comply with approved drawings, specifications and applicable standards.
- Conduct inspections and quality checks.
- Ensure proper testing of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and firefighting systems.
- Coordinate testing and commissioning activities.
- Ensure site MEP works comply with safety requirements.
- Coordinate with the project safety team to maintain safe working practices.
- Ensure proper documentation of inspections, tests and approvals.

Required Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of MEP design and execution.
- Excellent understanding of high-rise construction.
- Strong MIVAN / Aluminium Formwork experience.
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of construction sequencing.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
- Strong contractor and consultant management skills.
- Ability to independently manage large MEP teams.
- Good knowledge of project planning and execution.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD is required.
- Knowledge of Revit MEP / BIM / Navisworks will be an added advantage.

Educational Qualification

B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or relevant MEP discipline.

Candidates with additional qualifications in MEP, building services or project management will be preferred.

Experience

15 years of relevant experience in MEP engineering and execution.

Mandatory preference for candidates with significant experience in:

High-Rise Residential Commercial Projects MIVAN / Aluminium Formwork Construction.

Candidates should have hands-on site execution experience and should not be limited to design or consultancy roles.

Preferred Candidate The ideal candidate will be a hands-on MEP professional who has independently handled MEP execution for large-scale high-rise residential/commercial projects, particularly projects constructed using MIVAN / Aluminium Formwork technology.

Candidates should be capable of taking ownership of MEP activities from design coordination → planning → embedded services → floor-wise execution → testing → commissioning → final handover.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
