Role Purpose :

Responsible for strategic Sourcing/Purchase, supplier development, cost optimization, contract negotiations, and procurement of Chassis commodities for vehicle programs while ensuring quality, delivery, and cost targets are achieved.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage end-to-end procurement of Chassis commodities such as Frame, Axle, Suspension, Steering, Wheels, Brakes, Fasteners, Exhaust system,Wiper System and related components.

- Develop and execute commodity sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.

- Lead RFQ/RFP processes, supplier evaluation, negotiations, and finalization of sourcing decisions.

- Drive cost reduction initiatives through value engineering, localization, and should-cost analysis.





- Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, and Program teams for smooth project execution.

- Ensure suppliers meet quality, delivery, capacity, and compliance requirements.

- Monitor market trends, raw material movements, and supplier performance.

- Support current product development and vehicle programs from sourcing to SOP.

- Manage contracts, commercial agreements, and procurement governance.

- Lead supplier risk assessment, capacity audits, and business continuity planning.
