Details of Qualification, Experience & Age for the above post are as follows:

- Qualification:

Full time B.E.(Fire)/ B.Tech.(Fire)/ B.Tech.(Fire and Safety) in Fire & Safety discipline from a recognized college/university with minimum 60% aggregate marks. Degree/Diploma in Industrial Safety shall be preferred. Preference will be given to candidates having certification/training in Process Safety Management (PSM), HAZOP, Risk Assessment, Functional Safety, or related fields will be an added advantage and knowledge on industrial safety aspects and ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
- Experience as on 31.08.2026: Minimum 15 years of post-qualification experience in Process Safety Management of a large scale continuously operating chemical process industry like fertilizers, petrochemicals, refinery & Oil & Gas
- Hands-on experience in hazard identification and risk assessment studies, incident investigation, management of change, and implementation of Process Safety Management systems
- Age Limit: Not more than 42 years for Grade F as on 31.08.2026

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop, implement, and continuously improve the Process Safety Management framework across the organization
- Establish and monitor Process Safety Performance Indicators (leading and lagging indicators)
- Ensure compliance with applicable statutory, corporate, and industry process safety requirements. Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment
- Lead and facilitate HAZID, HAZOP, What-If, LOPA, Bow-Tie, QRA, SIL, and other risk assessment studies
- Review recommendations arising from studies and ensure timely implementation
- Conduct periodic Process Safety Audits and compliance assessments
- Review design modifications and engineering changes from a process safety perspective. Participate in PSSR (Pre-Startup Safety Review) activities for new projects and plant modifications
- Lead investigation of process safety incidents, near misses, and abnormal process events. Identify root causes and recommend corrective and preventive actions. Track implementation and effectiveness of recommendations
- Provide process safety guidance to production, maintenance, engineering, projects, and utility departments. Review operating procedures, safe operating limits, and critical operating parameters
- Develop and conduct process safety training programs for employees and contractors. Promote process safety culture and best practices across the organization
- Mentor departmental personnel on process safety concepts and methodologies. Support implementation and continual improvement of Integrated Management Systems (IMS), ISO 45001, and other relevant management systems
