Senior Manager - MEP Execution ( Electricals) SECTION I: BASIC INFORMATION Job Family Execution Role Team member – MEP (Electrical) Reporting to: Senior Engineer / Lead – MEP (Electrical) Workplace Classification Site SECTION II: ROLE SUMMARY (Purpose of the Role) The Team Member – MEP (Electrical) supports the on-site execution and monitoring of electrical MEP systems across assigned projects. The role focuses on assisting in installation, supervision of contractors, coordination with project teams, and ensuring electrical works including power distribution, lighting, ELV, and fire alarm systems are executed as per drawings, specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.

SECTION III: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ ACCOUNTABILITIES Financial / Functional Perspective ? Assist in minimizing rework and material wastage in electrical works. ? Support cost control through efficient use of materials and resources. ? Follow approved budgets and support cost-productive project execution. ? Improve productivity through effective planning and supervision.

Customer

Perspective ? Support delivery of reliable and high-quality electrical systems. ? Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams during execution. ? Assist in timely completion, testing, and handover of electrical services. ? Contribute to defect-free installations to improve client satisfaction.

Internal Process

Perspective ? Support execution of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, ELV, and fire alarm systems. ? Supervise contractor activities and monitor daily site progress. ? Ensure electrical works are executed as per approved drawings and specifications. ?

Coordinate with mechanical, civil, and architectural teams for smooth project execution.



? Maintain site documentation including progress reports and inspection records. ? Assist in testing, commissioning, and defect rectification activities. ?

Follow project safety guidelines and quality standards. Learning & Growth / Developmental Perspective ? Build technical expertise in electrical MEP systems and installation practices. ? Learn project execution planning and coordination techniques. ?

Participate in training and knowledge-sharing initiatives. ? Improve supervision, coordination, and problem-solving capabilities.

SECTION IV: KNOWLEDGE &

EXPERIENCE KNOWLEDGE Minimum Qualifications B.E./ B.Tech in Electrical Engineering Language Skills English National (Preferred) Regional (Desirable) EXPERIENCE Years of Experience 10–16 years in Electrical MEP execution Nature of Experience Experience in execution of power distribution, lighting, ELV and fire alarm systems, contractor management, coordination and site delivery.

SECTION V: TECHNICAL & LEADERSHIP / BEHAVIORAL SKILLS REQUIRED TO EXECUTE THE ROLE SKILLS Technical Skills (if available) Ability to apply knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations and best practices in order to systematically identify hazards, implement safety measures, and ensure compliance throughout the construction process to safeguard personnel, promote occupational health,



and protect the environment Ability to leverage established method statements to install electrical systems, including wiring, cabling, bus duct and rising mains and electrical panels/ equipment to provide safe and reliable power distribution throughout a building or facility while adhering to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other local regulations Ability to leverage relevant engineering equipment and systems knowledge (as applicable) to perform troubleshooting and testing and commissioning for systems, including system interfaces, functional testing and performance verification, to validate and ensure that all systems operate according to design specifications and meet performance criteria Ability to apply knowledge of architectural and engineering drawing standards with respect to Drawing Control Index (DCI) to read, analyze, and interpret various types of technical drawings, including blueprints, schematics, detailed drawings, GFC drawings and shop drawings to understand design specifications, dimensions, materials, and construction methods essential for successful engineering design, project planning and execution Ability to identify hazards, ensure compliance with safety norms, and create mitigation plans. Educates others on safe practices and regulatory requirements to protect workers, the environment, and the site. Ability to apply knowledge of electrical control schemes, wiring diagrams, and industry standards in order to develop and interpret primary equipment control schemes, design effective protection schemes, prepare detailed power and control cable schedules, and create accurate termination and interconnection charts, ensuring precise representation and compliance Leadership / Behavioral Skills (if available) NA
