Role & responsibilities

- Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of injection molding machines.

- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control system issues.

- Handle maintenance of injection molding machines from manufacturers such as Haitian, Engel, Arburg, Toshiba, JSW, Nissei, Ferromatik Milacron, etc.

- Maintain and troubleshoot machine components such as hydraulic pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, heaters, thermocouples, sensors, contactors, relays, PLCs, and drives.

- Diagnose and rectify electrical and control system faults, including PLC, HMI, VFD/servo drives, and temperature controllers.

- Maintain auxiliary equipment such as chillers, compressors, cooling towers, dryers, hopper loaders, mold temperature controllers, and granulators.

- Analyze recurring machine breakdowns and implement Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective actions.

- Monitor machine condition and identify potential failures through preventive and predictive maintenance.

- Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules,



checklists, and maintenance records.

- Ensure availability of critical spare parts and maintain appropriate inventory levels.

- Coordinate with machine manufacturers, service engineers, and external vendors for major breakdowns and technical support.

- Support installation, commissioning, modification, and relocation of injection molding machines.

- Monitor machine performance and identify opportunities to improve OEE, MTBF, and MTTR.

- Guide and supervise maintenance technicians and electricians.

- Ensure compliance with electrical, mechanical, and industrial safety requirements.

- Implement 5S, TPM, Kaizen, and continuous improvement activities within the maintenance department.

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports and breakdown analysis.

- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Tool Room, and other departments to minimize production interruptions.
