Company Description
Inkers Technology is based in Bengaluru with offices in the USA and UAE. We specialise in designing and developing deep, large-scale AI and ML solutions for the construction industry. With a focus on AI, computer vision, and deep neural networks, we have extended our capabilities into the construction industry with our cutting-edge AI-powered construction management solution, “Kaël” — an AI project manager that predicts delays, flags risks, automates reporting, and prevents cost overruns with real-time construction intelligence.
Our hardware platform, “Observance”, uses LiDAR scanning, thermal imaging, and AI-powered analysis to deliver BIM models, deviation detection, and as-built intelligence. We are committed to pushing the boundaries of technology across diverse sectors.
Role Description
We are looking for a Senior IT Administrator to own day-to-day IT operations while building out a more mature infrastructure, identity, endpoint, and security backbone as Inkers scales. This role goes beyond frontline support — you will administer Microsoft 365 and endpoint/MDM environments end-to-end, strengthen identity and access management, support cloud administration across AWS/Azure, and bring structure to IT security and compliance practices. You will also mentor and support junior IT staff and act as the go-to escalation point for complex issues.
The candidate should be willing to travel to project sites and work in the field whenever required, including supporting 3D scanning equipment and on-site IT requirements.
Responsibilities
- Own Microsoft 365 administration — Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive — including licensing, mail flow, retention policies, and PowerShell-driven automation.
- Lead identity and access management across Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including user provisioning/deprovisioning, security groups, MFA, and Conditional Access.
- Administer endpoint and MDM environments (Microsoft Intune, Jamf Pro, or equivalent) across Windows, macOS, and iOS — device enrollment, compliance policies, configuration profiles, and app deployment.
- Provide IT support to employees for hardware, software, network, email, and system-related issues, and set up/configure laptops, desktops, monitors, printers, and other equipment.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux systems.
- Troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, switches, routers, and other network issues; support enterprise networking (e.g. Cisco Meraki) where applicable.
- Assist with AWS/Azure cloud monitoring, administration, and cost/performance optimisation.
- Maintain IT asset records, software licenses, and equipment inventories; maintain IT documentation, SOPs,
and troubleshooting records.
- Perform system updates, antivirus/EDR checks, backups, and other security activities; support ISO 27001-aligned security and audit practices.
- Support CCTV, NVR, access-control systems, and other office/site IT infrastructure.
- Coordinate with vendors for internet, hardware, software, AMC, and other IT services.
- Own employee onboarding and offboarding, including system setup and access management.
- Track IT issues end-to-end and ensure timely resolution; act as the Level 2/3 escalation point for the IT function.
- Travel to project sites when required for 3D scanning, scanning equipment setup, and on-site IT support.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in IT Administration, IT Support, or System Administration.
- Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux systems, plus computer hardware, networking, and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace administration.
- Working knowledge of AWS/Azure or other cloud platforms.
- Experience with MDM/endpoint management (Intune, Jamf, or similar) is a strong plus.
- Exposure to information security practices and frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001) is a plus.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and handle multiple IT requirements.
- Willingness to travel and work at project sites when required.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.
