Role Description The Senior Interior Designer will lead the interior design vision and execution for HAIR RAP BY YOYO’s salon spaces in Ahmedabad. This full time, on-site role involves developing design concepts that reflect the brand’s creative identity, planning functional and aesthetically pleasing layouts, and overseeing the design process from concept through completion. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with ownership and stakeholders, preparing design proposals and mood boards, coordinating construction drawings and finishes, and managing FF&E; selections to align with budget and brand standards.

The role also includes working with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of projects, conducting site visits, resolving design challenges,



and maintaining a premium client experience through thoughtful spatial design.

The Senior Interior

Designer is expected to mentor junior team members, uphold health and safety standards, and contribute ideas for future salon expansions or upgrades.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with the ability to create functional, visually compelling salon environments.
- Candidates should possess Architecture-related knowledge and experience collaborating with architects and other design professionals.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in producing and reviewing Construction Drawings and technical documentation.
- Candidates should possess expertise in FF&E; selection, including finishes, furniture, lighting, and equipment appropriate for salon settings.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and presentation tools.
- Demonstrated experience leading interior design projects from concept to completion, ideally in retail, hospitality, or salon environments.
- Strong project management, budgeting, and vendor coordination skills, with attention to detail and timelines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a client-focused and inclusive approach.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; professional certifications are an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad and conduct regular site visits as required by project demands.
