Role: Senior IAM Engineer

Exp: 6+ years (Relevant exp)

Location: Chennai, Bangalore & Pune ( Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities

- Act as a senior technical escalation point for Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Hybrid Identity, MFA, SSO, Conditional Access, Federation, Directory Synchronization, and Privileged Access Management environments.
- Support onboarding and transition of new client environments through technical discovery, assessment, operational readiness validation, and knowledge transfer activities.
- Perform health assessments and identify operational, security, and supportability risks before service acceptance.
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex identity, authentication, access management, and synchronization issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions for recurring incidents and platform issues.
- Design and implement identity security controls aligned with Zero Trust and least-privilege principles.
- Develop and maintain automation, health-check frameworks, reporting solutions, and operational tooling using PowerShell.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, onboarding guides, support procedures, and knowledge articles.
- Collaborate with security, infrastructure, architecture, application,



and service delivery teams to improve service reliability and security posture.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to service improvement, standardization, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

- 6+ years of enterprise experience in Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Hybrid Identity, or Identity & Access Management engineering.

- Robust technical expertise in:
- Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS)

- Microsoft Entra ID

- Hybrid Identity

- Conditional Access
- MFA and Single Sign-On (SSO)
- DNS, Replication, and Trusts

- Identity Governance

- Privileged Identity Management (PIM)

- Directory Synchronization
- Enterprise Applications and Authentication Technologies
- Strong PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
- Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, or similar ITSM platforms.
- Experience supporting enterprise change management, production governance, and operational support processes.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Microsoft Identity, Security, Azure, or related certifications.
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Experience in managed services environments.
- Experience with client onboarding, service transitions, and operational stabilization.
- Knowledge of Zero Trust and modern identity security practices.
