Crypto tax is confusing, a little scary, and usually explained badly. A big part of our job is fixing that. That's where you come in.
Role:
We're looking for a designer who can take a dense topic like capital gains on a token swap and turn it into a carousel people save, share and actually understand.
You'll own the visual side of how KoinX shows up across social, web, product marketing and partner campaigns. You'll work closely with the content, marketing and product teams, and with our founder.
This isn't a "resize the banner in 12 formats" role. We want someone with opinions about how things should look, and the craft to back them up.
What you'll work on:
- Instagram carousels, X visuals, LinkedIn creatives and YouTube thumbnails that stop the scroll and explain something clearly
- Infographics and explainers that break down tax rules, deadlines and calculations without feeling like a textbook
- Co-branded campaign assets and printables with exchange partners like CoinDCX, Delta Exchange, Mudrex and Bybit
- Landing page visuals, email creatives and product marketing assets for launches and tax season campaigns
- Event and webinar collateral, presentation decks and one-off brand pieces
- Keeping the KoinX visual identity consistent (and evolving it) as we grow into new markets
- Building templates and systems so the team can move fast without things looking off-brand
You'll do well here if you:
- Have 3 to 6 years of experience designing for a brand, ideally fintech, crypto, SaaS or a content-heavy consumer company
- Have a portfolio with real work, not just brand identity case studies
- Know how to make information readable. Hierarchy, spacing and type choices are where you shine
- Understand how design works differently on Instagram vs LinkedIn vs a YouTube thumbnail
- Are fluent in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Can take rough copy and a vague brief and come back with something sharper than what was asked for
- Are comfortable giving and taking feedback, and can explain why a design choice works
- Manage your own time well in a remote setup and communicate proactively when something is blocked
Bonus points:
- Basic video design skills for animated carousels, reels and short explainers
- Experience with data visualisation or illustrated explainers
- A working understanding of crypto, or at least genuine curiosity about it
- Experience working with AI image tools in a production workflow, with the taste to know when not to use them
Must have:
- Figma: components, auto layout, variants, and building reusable templates for a team
- Adobe Illustrator: vector illustration, icons, infographics, layout and printables from scratch
- Adobe Photoshop: image editing, compositing, retouching and thumbnail work
Valuable to have:
- Adobe Premiere Pro or similar for motion graphics and animated social content
- AI image tools like Midjourney or Firefly, used as part of a workflow and not as a replacement for design
