Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Furniture Design & CNC Production Engineer with 5–7 years of experience in furniture manufacturing, modular furniture or interior manufacturing.

The candidate will be responsible for furniture design, production drawings, CNC panel cutting, BOM/BOQ, material planning and coordination with the production team.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed 2D furniture and production drawings using AutoCAD.
- Create 3D furniture models using SketchUp and 3ds Max.
- Prepare BOM, BOQ, cutting lists and material requirement sheets.
- Coordinate with CNC Panel Saw operators for production.
- Prepare and verify CNC cutting requirements and optimize material usage.
- Check dimensions, drawings, materials and hardware specifications.
- Coordinate with Production, CNC, Stores, Purchase and Quality teams.
- Resolve design and production-related technical issues.
- Conduct first-piece/component inspection and ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Prepare production MIS, material consumption and wastage reports in MS Excel.
- Maintain drawing revisions and technical documentation.
- Ensure minimum material wastage and reduce production errors/rework.

Qualification Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical, Production, Furniture Technology, Interior Design or a related field.

Experience

5–7 years of relevant experience in furniture manufacturing, modular furniture, interior manufacturing or CNC-based woodworking production.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates who have hands-on experience in AutoCAD + SketchUp + 3ds Max + Excel + CNC Panel Saw and can independently take a project from design to production will be preferred.

Salary

₹40,000–₹60,000 per month, depending on experience, technical skills and interview performance.
