Role Overview

- Building and refining robust forecasting models
- Providing strategic insights across multiple therapeutic areas
- Mentoring junior analysts while ensuring top notch quality of work

Key Responsibilities

- Design and validate patient-based and volume-based forecast models, integrating primary and secondary data sources (e.g., IQVIA, claims, EMR)
- Conduct scenario analyses (e.g., Monte Carlo simulations, sensitivity analysis) to evaluate uncertainties and inform strategic decision-making.
- Stay updated on multiple therapeutic areas to provide expert insights on market trends, sales projections, and patient flow dynamics.




- Engage with global pharmaceutical clients to understand their business objectives and refine forecasting methodologies.
- Present assumptions, insights, and strategic recommendations in a clear and compelling manner.
- Translate complex datasets into actionable insights using visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Mentor and guide junior analysts, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Review forecasting models and reports for accuracy, clarity, and strategic alignment.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to support broader commercial analytics initiatives.

Requirements

- 3–5 years in pharmaceutical forecasting or commercial analytics, ideally in a consulting or bio-pharma environment
- Strong understanding of drug development, market access, and regulatory dynamics.
- Advanced Excel (including VBA), SQL, and forecasting methodologies
- Familiarity with IQVIA, Symphony, claims data, and other secondary data sources.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
- Proven ability to synthesize complex datasets into clear strategic recommendations
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and provide data-driven insights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in client-facing roles.
- Ability to lead project teams and mentor junior analysts effectively.
- Comfortable working in cross-functional, global teams with evolving priorities.
