Title – Senior Executive : Indirect Taxation o Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Tax Manager to lead our Indirect Tax compliance and advisory functions. You will be responsible for ensuring 100% compliance with GST laws, optimizing tax positions, and representing the organization/clients during audits and assessments.

o Roles & Responsibilities

- GST Compliance & Filing

· Returns Management: Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns (GSTR-1, 3B, GSTR-9, and 9C) with zero error tolerance.

· Credit Optimization: Perform rigorous ITC (Input Tax Credit) Reconciliations (matching GSTR-2B/2A with Purchase Registers) to identify leakages and ensure maximum eligible credit claim.

· E-Way Bill & E-Invoicing: Oversee the generation and compliance of E-way bills and E-invoices to ensure seamless logistics and documentation.

- Litigation & Audit Support

· Assessment Handling: Gather, organize, and submit documentation for GST audits, department inquiries, and scrutiny assessments.

· Drafting: Prepare technical drafts for replies to Show Cause Notices (SCN), appeals, and legal submissions.





· Representation: Assist senior management in liaising with tax authorities and attending hearings.

- Advisory & Strategy

· Impact Analysis: Stay abreast of CBIC notifications and circulars; analyze how changes impact business operations, pricing, and supply chains.

· Cross-Border Trade: Advise on customs duties, import/export benefits (RoDTEP/SEZ/EOU), and the taxability of cross-border service transactions.

· Strategic Planning: Identify opportunities for tax optimization and risk mitigation within the legal framework.

- Financial Systems & Data Integrity

· ERP Management: Work extensively with SAP/Tally Prime to ensure tax codes are correctly mapped and transactions are captured accurately.

· General Ledger Reconciliation: Conduct periodic reconciliations between the tax portal ledgers (Cash, Credit, Liability) and the company’s books of accounts.

o Desired Candidate Profile:

Good understanding of GST and accounting concepts

CA Inter / Semi Qualified CA

B.com / M.com with relevant experience

Hands-on ERP experience (CargoWise/Oracle/SAP preferred)

Robust Excel and reconciliation skills

Ability to handle large data sets with accuracy

- Good communication and coordination abilities
