The Role and Responsibilities:





The Senior Software Engineer - offshore - will be leading an Agile development team. The role required hands-on contribution to application design and development while providing technical direction, mentoring developers, reviewing code, resolving complex production issues, and helping the Agile team successfully deliver committed features. Agile team will be building and maintaining a cloud-hosted enterprise level systems utilizing the latest Java web development technologies.

Our systems need to meet remarkably high standards of quality, performance, and reliability, operating around the clock on a large and growing scale

Requirement

- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering; Master’s degree a plus.
- 4 to 6 years’ experience with all phases of the software development life cycle, best practices and Agile Software Development.
- Solid OOP and software design knowledge. Incumbent should know how to create software that’s extensible, reusable and meets desired architectural objectives.
- Experienced in designing and developing enterprise-level web applications using Java and related server-side technologies: Jakarta EE, Spring Framework, SOAP /RESTful Web Services, Maven / Gradle and Spring Security.
- Experienced in designing and implementing AWS cloud-based architectures using services such as Docker container, EKS, RDS, S3, ALB, SQS/SNS, and WAF.
- Experience with Angular and Python is a plus.
- Experience working with Window/Linux environments
- Experience working in Oracle or Postgres database
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to stay focused on completing tasks and meeting goals within a busy workspace.
- Skilled at working in tandem with a team of engineers, or alone as required.
- Lead, mentor and provide technical guidance to a team of software engineers
