Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager Control Panel Assembly

We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager Control Panel Assembly to manage and supervise the fabrication, assembly, wiring, testing, and dispatch of electrical/control panels.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and manage materials, manpower, and resources to meet production schedules.
- Monitor productivity, quality, and on-time delivery.
- Lead and guide technicians, electricians, and contract workforce.
- Supervise fabrication and assembly of electrical/electronic panels as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Stores, and Procurement teams.
- Manage WIP and maintain shop-floor production schedules.
- Check BOM, GA drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and project documents.
- Ensure proper panel assembly, control wiring, power wiring, and testing.
- Inspect completed control panels, close observations, and clear panels for dispatch.
- Maintain production, inspection, and testing documentation.
- Ensure safe and efficient completion of work as per customer delivery requirements.





Technical Requirements

- Strong knowledge of electrical panel assembly, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Experience in Switchgear and Busbar assembly/manufacturing.
- Experience with LT Panels, Starter Panels, Power Panels, and Automation Control Panels.
- Good knowledge of power and control wiring and control cabinet assembly.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, GA drawings, wiring diagrams, and control logic diagrams.
- Solid understanding of electrical fundamentals.
- Knowledge of electrical/electronic components and relevant industry standards.

Qualification Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering or related discipline.

Preferred Industry Background

Candidates from Electrical Panel Manufacturing, Control Panel Manufacturing, Switchgear, LT Panel, Automation Panel, Generator/Genset, or Electrical Equipment Manufacturing industries are preferred.
