We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior 2D Draughtsman to join our interior designing firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate 2D drawings, layouts, and technical documentation to support our design and execution teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed 2D working drawings, layout plans, elevations, and sections for interior projects
- Convert design concepts and sketches from senior designers into precise technical drawings
- Prepare furniture layouts, electrical layouts, flooring plans, ceiling plans, and joinery/carpentry drawings
- Coordinate with site teams, designers, and vendors to ensure drawings align with site conditions
- Make timely revisions to drawings based on design changes or client feedback
- Maintain proper documentation and version control of all drawings
- Ensure drawings meet company standards and are print/production-ready
- Assist in taking site measurements when required
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
- Minimum 1.5 years of relevant experience in an interior design firm
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory); knowledge of SketchUp or 3D software is a plus
- Strong understanding of furniture detailing, joinery, and interior construction elements
- Good eye for design accuracy, scale, and proportion
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Good communication skills to coordinate with the design and site execution teams

- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Basic understanding of interior materials and finishes
