Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a Design & Estimation Engineer with experience in fire protection systems to prepare system designs, BOQs, cost estimates, technical proposals, and project quotations. The candidate should have valuable knowledge of fire protection standards, AutoCAD, and relevant estimation software, with strong analytical and communication skills.

- Designing fire protection systems including fire sprinkler, hydrant, fire hose reel, fire pump, and fire alarm systems.
- Preparing design drawings, hydraulic calculations, BOQs, material take-offs, and technical specifications.
- Preparing accurate cost estimates, quotations, and commercial proposals based on project requirements.
- Reviewing tender documents, drawings, specifications, and scope of work.
- Coordinating with clients, consultants, suppliers, and project teams for technical and commercial clarifications.




- Ensuring designs comply with applicable NFPA, NBC, and local fire safety standards.
- Preparing and reviewing AutoCAD drawings and supporting project documentation.
- Obtaining and comparing supplier quotations and assisting in material selection and procurement.
- Supporting the project team during execution with technical clarifications and design revisions.

Bachelors/Diploma in Mechanical, Fire & Safety, or related engineering field, with relevant experience in fire protection design and estimation. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and fire protection design/estimation software is preferred. Good knowledge of NFPA standards and hydraulic calculations is an advantage.
