Role Description The Senior Associate will handle day-to-day litigation and advisory work, including drafting pleadings, petitions, written submissions, and opinions for matters before the Bombay High Court and other forums.

Responsibilities include conducting in-depth legal research, preparing case strategies, reviewing documents, and coordinating with clients for instructions, updates, and case preparation. The role involves regular court appearances, conferences with counsel, and managing case timelines and compliance with procedural requirements. This is a full time, on-site role based in Mumbai,



requiring consistent presence for court hearings, client meetings, and collaboration with the firm’s team.

Qualifications

- Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills, with the ability to prepare clear, well-structured pleadings and opinions.
- Experience in litigation practice, preferably before High Courts or similar forums, including handling hearings and case strategy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and clarity in both English and, preferably, Hindi/Marathi.
- Ability to manage multiple matters, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a high-intensity litigation environment.
- LL.B. (or equivalent law degree) from a recognized institution and enrollment with the Bar Council of India; relevant post-qualification experience as an advocate is highly preferred.
- Professional ethics, confidentiality, and a collaborative mindset when working with colleagues, clients, and senior counsel.
- Proficiency in standard office software and basic document management tools; familiarity with online legal research databases is an advantage.
