Job Summary:

The Senior Associate - Forensics will support forensic and DFIR assignments involving evidence collection, preservation, examination, analysis, documentation, and reporting. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, knowledge of forensics methodologies, and the ability to work across corporate, legal, and investigative matters.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support forensics and DFIR investigations from case intake through reporting.
- Conduct remote, in office, and laboratory-based forensic activities as required.
- Collect, preserve, examine, and analyze digital and electronic evidence while maintaining evidence integrity.
- Assist with investigations involving cyber incidents, data theft, fraud, insider activity, unauthorized access, and other investigative matters.
- Identify and analyze relevant artifacts, logs, files, communications, metadata, and user activity.
- Support incident response, evidence preservation, and investigative analysis.
- Maintain proper chain of custody, evidence records, case notes, and investigation documentation.
- Use appropriate forensic tools and methodologies for evidence examination.
- Prepare clear and technically accurate forensic reports, findings, evidence summaries, and timelines.
- Assist senior forensic professionals during client, legal, and investigative engagements.
- Communicate technical findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay updated on Forensics, DFIR, Cybersecurity,



Incident Response, and emerging forensic technologies.
- Contribute to internal research, training, knowledge sharing, and process improvement.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure all assignments are completed accurately and within timelines.

Qualifications:

- M.Sc. in Digital Forensics & Information Security (OR) B.Tech / B.E. in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Cyber Forensics, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3 - 6 months internship experience in Cyber Forensics, Digital Forensics, Cybersecurity, DFIR, or related IT domain.

Required Skills:

- Strong understanding of Forensics, Digital Forensics, SIEM, SOC, and Incident Response.
- Basic knowledge of evidence handling and chain of custody.
- Understanding of operating systems, file systems, networks, logs, and digital artifacts.
- Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
- Good technical documentation and report-writing skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel for on-site forensic assignments when required.
- Kannada proficiency is preferred.
