Senior Architect

Role Overview The Senior Architect is responsible for leading architectural design and delivery from concept through construction, coordinating with consultants, managing client interactions, and ensuring that projects meet functional, statutory, quality, and timeline requirements. The role combines design leadership with strong technical and coordination capabilities.

Key Responsibilities Design Leadership

- Lead architectural design across all project stages including concept, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.
- Translate client briefs into functional, compliant, and buildable design solutions.
- Ensure design intent is maintained through all project stages.
- Review and approve architectural drawings, details, and material specifications. Technical & Statutory Compliance

- Ensure compliance with local development regulations, NBC, fire norms, accessibility standards, and applicable codes.
- Prepare and review drawings for planning permission, building permit, and statutory approvals.
- Respond to authority comments and support approval closures. Project Coordination

- Coordinate with structural, MEP, fa•ade, landscape, and specialist consultants.
- Resolve design and coordination issues through regular interdisciplinary reviews.
- Ensure consistency across architectural, structural, and MEP documentation. Client Interface

- Act as the primary architectural contact for assigned projects.
- Lead client meetings, presentations, and design reviews.
- Manage design changes and client feedback efficiently. Tendering & Documentation

- Support preparation of tender drawings, technical specifications, and BOQs.
- Assist in tender clarifications,



bidder queries, and technical evaluations. Construction Support

- Provide architectural support during construction including site visits.
- Review shop drawings, samples, mock-ups, and material submittals.
- Issue clarifications, revisions, and architectural instructions as required.
- Ensure construction aligns with approved drawings and design intent. Team Leadership

- Guide and mentor junior architects and draftsmen.
- Allocate tasks and monitor drawing outputs as per schedules.
- Enforce office drafting standards, documentation quality, and workflows. Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture.
- Registered Architect with the Council of Architecture (mandatory).
- 8 12+ years of professional experience, including independent project handling.
- Experience in handling medium to large-scale projects. Preferable: Pharmaceutical, Data Centre projects handled experience Technical Skills

- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit/BIM knowledge preferred.
- Good understanding of construction methods, materials, and detailing.
- Ability to read and coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP drawings. Core Competencies
