Senior Android Developer
Bengaluru, India 3–8 years Full-time Build scalable Android applications and take end-to-end ownership of modern mobile experiences.
Role Overview
As a Senior Android Developer, you will design and develop modern mobile applications. You will work with designers, developers and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, intuitive and high-performing Android experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test and maintain Android applications.
- Take end-to-end technical ownership of mobile features.
- Translate UI/UX requirements into responsive interfaces.
- Integrate applications with REST APIs and backend services.
- Improve application performance, reliability and maintainability.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Collaborate effectively within an Agile delivery team.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of Android application-development experience.
- Strong knowledge of Kotlin or Java and Android Studio.
- Experience with Android SDK, layouts and adaptive interfaces.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs.
- Understanding of design patterns and application architecture.
- Knowledge of debugging, testing and performance optimization.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Good to Have
- Experience with Jetpack, MVVM or Clean Architecture.
- Familiarity with Android automated testing.
- Experience working in an Agile workplace.
- Experience publishing or maintaining applications on Google Play.
Education
BE/B.Tech or an equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
