About the Role

Senior BI Analyst – Power BI

Experience: 3-7 Years

Location: Hyderabad, India

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and creative Senior BI Analyst with strong expertise in Power BI, SQL, DAX, data modelling, and dashboard development . The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering interactive analytics solutions that transform complex business requirements into actionable insights.

The candidate must have Italian reading and writing proficiency and prior experience working with Italian customers or stakeholders .

Key Responsibilities

Power BI Development

- Design and develop high-performance Power BI dashboards, reports, and analytics applications .
- Build advanced Power BI solutions using DAX, Power Query (M), Row-Level Security (RLS), drill-throughs, bookmarks, and custom visuals .
- Develop intuitive and visually compelling dashboards that support business decision-making and KPI tracking .
- Optimize Power BI reports and data models for performance, usability, and scalability.

End-to-End BI Implementation

- Manage BI projects from requirements gathering through development, deployment, and user training .
- Develop and optimize data models and transformation scripts to integrate data from multiple sources.
- Conduct comprehensive testing and debugging to ensure accuracy, reliability, and scalability .




- Translate business requirements into effective BI and visualization solutions.

SQL & Data Transformation

- Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Work with data platforms including Azure SQL, Snowflake, and Databricks .
- Apply data transformation and modelling techniques to support analytical requirements.
- Collaborate with data teams to validate source-to-report logic and data quality.
- Experience with PySpark is an added advantage.

BI Integration & Automation

- Integrate Power BI with Excel, Power Automate, and SharePoint .
- Support dashboard migration and embedded analytics initiatives.
- Explore and contribute to GenAI-powered analytics and automation solutions using Python .

Data Engineering Collaboration

- Work closely with Data Engineers to align reporting solutions with data pipelines.
- Validate data across different layers and ensure consistency between source systems and reports.
- Support data quality, ETL, and data warehousing initiatives.

Client & Business Collaboration

- Work closely with business stakeholders to define KPIs, reporting requirements, and analytical objectives .
- Translate business needs into intuitive and efficient analytics solutions.
- Present complex data insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.




- Collaborate with Italian customers and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective BI solutions.

Required Skills

- 3-7 years of hands-on experience in Business Intelligence, Power BI, and SQL .
- Strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, Power Query (M), and data modelling .
- Strong understanding of data visualization principles and BI architecture .
- Solid SQL programming and data analysis skills.
- Experience working with Azure SQL, Snowflake, Databricks , or similar data platforms.
- Strong understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts .
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into effective BI solutions.
- Fluent Italian reading and writing skills .
- Prior experience working with Italian customers or stakeholders .
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects within defined timelines.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Python and GenAI-based analytics or automation .
- Experience with PySpark .
- Knowledge of Tableau or Qlik Sense .
- Experience with Power Automate and SharePoint .
- Exposure to embedded analytics and dashboard migration .
- Experience in project management and coordinating BI initiatives.
- Strong business acumen and ability to understand business processes and translate them into analytical solutions.

Education

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field .
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) are preferred.
