Job Summary

Foodhub is looking for a Senior AI-Native Quality Engineer / Senior SDET to help transform the way we build, automate and validate software quality.

This is not a traditional QA execution role. We are looking for a hands-on automation engineer who combines strong software testing and automation skills with practical experience using AI and LLM technologies.

You will work closely with Engineering and Product teams in a fast-paced product environment with frequent releases, helping us increase automation, reduce repetitive manual testing, improve regression efficiency and introduce AI throughout the quality-engineering lifecycle.

What You'll Do

- Design, develop and maintain scalable automated test frameworks using Playwright and supporting technologies.
- Develop automation for web applications, APIs, mobile applications and end-to-end customer journeys.
- Build API automation using REST Assured or equivalent frameworks.
- Develop mobile automation using Appium where required.
- Integrate automated testing into Jenkins / CI/CD pipelines and establish meaningful quality gates.
- Develop functional, integration, regression and end-to-end automation.
- Identify and eliminate repetitive manual testing through automation.
- Reduce flaky tests and improve test execution speed and reliability.
- Participate in requirements, refinement, design and release discussions to identify quality risks early.
- Investigate failures, analyse logs, screenshots and stack traces, and help drive root-cause analysis.
- Challenge unclear requirements and implementations from a quality and customer perspective.

AI-Native Quality Engineering AI is a core requirement for this role. You will be expected to use AI as an engineering productivity multiplier across the testing lifecycle, including:

- AI-assisted test scenario and test-case generation.
- AI-assisted automation development and code generation.
- AI-assisted debugging and failure analysis.




- AI-generated and synthetic test data.
- AI-assisted test maintenance and refactoring.
- AI-assisted regression/test-impact analysis.
- AI-assisted QA reporting and test-result analysis.
- Exploring self-healing and intelligent automation approaches.
- Using AI coding assistants to improve automation development productivity.

We are looking for someone who actively uses AI in their engineering workflow, not someone who has simply experimented with ChatGPT.

AI / LLM Testing

You will also contribute to testing and evaluating AI-powered features for:

- Accuracy and relevance.
- Consistency and reliability.
- Context handling.
- Hallucinations.
- Prompt injection.
- Adversarial inputs.
- Safety and guardrails.
- Boundary and failure conditions.
- Response quality and evaluation.

Experience with RAG, embeddings, vector databases, conversational AI, tool/function calling and AI agents is strongly preferred. You should understand the testing lifecycle of: User Query Retrieval Context LLM Response

Experience testing AI agents, including tool selection, invalid parameters, repeated calls, state management and failure recovery, will be an advantage.

Required Skills

- 58 years of experience in Software Testing, SDET or Quality Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience in test automation.
- Strong programming skills in Java, TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.
- Strong API automation experience.
- Experience with REST Assured or equivalent API automation frameworks.
- Experience designing or maintaining automation frameworks.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, Git and automated quality gates.
- Strong knowledge of functional, integration,



regression and end-to-end testing.
- Strong debugging and analytical skills.
- Experience with Appium/mobile automation is strongly preferred.
- Selenium, TestNG/JUnit, SQL, Docker, cloud-based test execution, performance or security testing are valuable.

- Automated LLM evaluation.
- AI quality/evaluation frameworks.
