Firebird Institute of Research in Management, Coimbatore is looking for smart, articulate, energetic and result-oriented Admission Counsellors & Senior Admission Counsellors to join our admissions team.

Key Responsibility

You will be responsible for managing the complete student admission journey—from lead generation and tele-counselling to campus interaction and final admission conversion.

Your role will include

- Handling and converting admissions leads through quality telecalling
- Converting cold databases into warm and qualified leads
- Counselling students and parents about PGDM, International MBA and PGP programmes
- Clearly articulating programme value, career opportunities, industry exposure and unique programme features
- Following up systematically and driving lead-to-admission conversions
- Conducting online and offline counselling
- Welcoming and counselling students and parents during campus visits
- Participating in education fairs, outreach programmes and admission campaigns
- Building strong relationships with prospective students and parents
- Achieving defined monthly and annual admission targets
- Understanding the aspirations and diversity of students from different parts of India
- Maintaining accurate lead records and ensuring timely follow-ups

- Strong in sales and conversion skills
- Target-oriented with a positive and challenging attitude
- Good at relationship building and follow-up




- Well-groomed and professionally presented
- Comfortable handling students and parents across different regions of India
- Willing to travel for education fairs and outreach activities when required
- Capable of handling both telephonic and face-to-face counselling

Language Skills

Excellent English communication is essential.

Knowledge of Hindi and a South Indian regional language will be a strong advantage, enabling effective counselling of students from different parts of India.

Qualification

- Graduate / Postgraduate
- BBA / B.Com / MBA preferred
- Candidates with specialization or experience in Sales, Marketing, HR or Education Counselling will have an added advantage.

Experience

- Admission counselling / Education Sales / Inside Sales / Business Development experience preferred.
- Freshers with exceptional communication, confidence and sales aptitude may also be considered.
- Experienced candidates may be considered for Senior Admission Counsellor positions.
