Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and administrative activities. The role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices and payments, following up on receivables, supporting reconciliations, and handling general office administration.

The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of accounting principles, strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks within deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable (AP)

- Verify, process, and record supplier/vendor invoices.
- Ensure invoices are supported by appropriate purchase orders, approvals, and supporting documents.
- Maintain vendor accounts and reconcile supplier statements.
- Prepare payment requests and payment schedules for management approval.
- Track outstanding vendor payments and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of invoices and payment records.
- Assist with monthly AP closing activities.

Accounts Receivable (AR)

- Prepare and issue customer invoices accurately and on time.
- Record customer receipts and maintain customer accounts.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up with customers for timely payments.
- Prepare and maintain ageing reports for receivables.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing/payment discrepancies.
- Coordinate with the sales and operations teams regarding invoicing and collections.




- Maintain accurate records of customer transactions and supporting documents.

General Accounting

- Record day-to-day accounting transactions in the accounting system.
- Maintain ledgers and supporting schedules.
- Perform bank, customer, and vendor reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare routine accounting reports and schedules.
- Maintain proper books and records in accordance with company policies.
- Support the Finance Manager/Accountant during audits and financial reviews.
- Ensure accounting documents are properly filed and readily available when required.

Administration

- Handle day-to-day office administrative and coordination activities.
- Maintain records of office expenses, bills, contracts, and other administrative documents.
- Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and internal departments.
- Assist with procurement of office supplies and monitor inventory.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of administrative records.
- Coordinate meetings, courier/document dispatches, and other general office requirements.
- Support management with administrative reports and routine coordination tasks.

Compliance & Documentation

- Ensure invoices, receipts, payment documents,



and other accounting records are complete and properly maintained.
- Support statutory and tax-related documentation as required.
- Assist auditors, consultants, and external agencies by providing required records.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and business information.
- Follow company accounting, approval, and internal-control procedures.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting and administration.
- Valuable understanding of AP, AR, reconciliations, invoicing, and basic accounting.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with accounting software/ERP systems.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Experience handling vendor and customer reconciliations.
- Good Excel skills, including formulas, filters, pivot tables, and basic reporting.
- Ability to independently manage routine accounting and administrative activities.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
