– Security Guard

Location: Corporate Office, MRC Nagar, Chennai

Job Summary The Security Guard will be responsible for maintaining a protected and secure environment at Kauvery Hospital’s Corporate Office. The role primarily involves access control, security patrolling, visitor and vehicle entry management, incident reporting, and supporting emergency and safety procedures.

The ideal candidate should be alert, courteous, physically fit, and capable of handling security responsibilities professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

- Verify and authorize the entry of employees, visitors, vendors, and vehicles as per established procedures.
- Monitor and control entry and exit points at the Corporate Office.
- Conduct regular security patrols across the premises.
- Ensure doors, gates, restricted areas, and other access points are properly secured.
- Maintain accurate visitor, vendor, vehicle, and security registers.
- Prevent unauthorized entry into restricted or designated areas.
- Observe and immediately report any suspicious behaviour, unauthorized access, safety hazards, or unusual incidents.
- Provide appropriate assistance and guidance to employees, visitors, and guests.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, and emergency situations as per established procedures.
- Support fire drills, emergency evacuation, and emergency preparedness activities.
- Assist in maintaining orderly entry, exit, and movement of vehicles within the premises.




- Support security arrangements during VIP visits and official events, whenever required.
- Coordinate with the Administration team on security and safety-related requirements.
- Ensure adherence to Corporate Office security policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Maintain professional conduct, discipline, and alertness throughout the duty period.
- Prepare and submit daily security activity reports and incident reports, wherever applicable.
- Ensure proper shift handover by communicating important incidents, instructions, and pending matters to the next shift.

Qualification & Experience

- Qualification: Any Graduate/ 12th Pass.
- Previous experience as a Security Guard / Security Personnel in a corporate office, hospital, hotel, commercial establishment, or similar organization is preferred.
- Candidates with relevant security training or prior experience in organized security services will have an added advantage.
