Position Summary

Level: Delivery Management Engineer III

As a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale software solutions, lead the creation of robust pipelines and manage code deployment across environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional, global teams to translate functional requirements into effective deliverables, independently guiding and mentoring junior team members.

Your role spans the full project lifecycle, including estimation, planning, execution, and tracking key metrics for analysis, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of solutions.

The Scrum Master is a key member of an Agile team, responsible for facilitating the Scrum process, coaching team members in Agile best practices, and ensuring the teams effectiveness in delivering high-quality products. The Scrum Master acts as a servant leader, removing impediments and fostering a collaborative, transparent, and high-performing team environment.

Work you’ll do:





As a Delivery Management Engineer III on the Engineering as a Service team, you will be responsible for supporting Agile delivery execution, enabling team effectiveness, and helping drive high-quality outcomes across POD-based delivery environments.

- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives.
- Coach teams and stakeholders on Scrum, Agile practices, and scaled Agile ways of working to support effective delivery.
- Remove impediments, manage dependencies, and help resolve delivery risks impacting sprint execution.
- Support backlog refinement, prioritization, and communication of delivery goals in collaboration with Product Owners and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Track sprint progress, delivery flow, and quality metrics, while preparing status updates and maintaining Scrum artifacts to promote transparency.

Qualifications

Require

- 6+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile delivery role supporting POD-based delivery models and collaboration across multiple PODs, including Scrum of Scrums.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent Agile certification.
- Experience applying Scrum and scaled Agile frameworks, including SAFe, in software delivery environments.
- Experience with software development life cycle, project planning and estimation, risk identification, and capacity and dependency management.
- Experience using Agile project management tools, including Jira, Jira Align, Azure DevOps, or Rally, and building dashboards to report delivery metrics.
- Experience coaching Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and development teams on Agile practices, Lean delivery practices, and product delivery tools.
- Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology, Master of Computer Applications, or Master of Science in Computer Science from an accredited university, or equivalent degree.

Preferred:
- SAFe Agilist certification.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in enterprise-scale delivery environments.
- Experience tracking sprint plan, definition of done, quality, and delivery flow metrics.
- Experience supporting backlog refinement and backlog management with Product Owners.
- Experience with version control systems, including GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket, and continuous integration, continuous deployment, and release management processes.
- Experience using objectives and key results and key performance indicators to measure Agile team performance.
