AI Film Analysis and Training Specialist for ScreenGen.Org

Compensation: $250-$500 a month, depending on experience

We are building an AI system that learns to write compelling scenes, construct effective cinematic coverage, and adapt novels into screenplays. Our approach combines detailed film deconstruction, assignments paired with carefully selected scene examples, and an initial fine-tuning phase using matched novels and their screenplays. Human-approved corrections and lessons then support immediate improvements through the application and periodic model retraining.

We are looking for one resourceful, detail-oriented operator to manage this workflow from film and manuscript intake through training-data preparation, model evaluation, and testing against new storylines and books.

What you will do

- Register films and supplied scripts, organize source files, and verify that the script corresponds to the film being analyzed.
- Operate a three-pass analysis process: whole-film overview, sequential scene deconstruction.
- Review scene boundaries, performed dialogue, character identities, action descriptions, and cinematic coverage against the actual film.




- Evaluate scene classifications such as turning points, character development, setup/payoff, and sequence function using evidence from earlier and later scenes.

Required skills and experience

- Strong scene-level film judgment. Experience in screenwriting, script development, editing, film analysis, or a closely related discipline. You can explain how a scene develops character, changes the dramatic situation, manages information, and contributes to a larger sequence.
- Understanding of cinematic construction. Familiarity with shot sizes, camera movement, blocking, staging, eyelines, screen direction, continuity, pacing, and the relationship between coverage and dramatic intent.

- Clear written communication. You can write concise assignments, explain editorial decisions, and produce useful issue reports.
- Book-to-screenplay adaptation judgment. Ability to assess a complete narrative, identify essential character arcs and source qualities, and judge whether compression, restructuring, visual storytelling, and purposeful narration serve the adaptation brief.
