Requirements:

- Strong experience in SAS and Python.
n
- Valuable to have experience with Fraud models and Financial Crime experience.

- Solid understanding of relational databases and proficiency in SQL.
n
- Strong knowledge of Model Risk Management and the different aspects of MRM – development, validation, implementation, monitoring, governance, etc.
n
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
n
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

nResponsibilities:

n

n
- Design, develop and implement statistical and rule-based models to detect fraud. Models will be used to detect Synthetic Fraud, Identity Theft Fraud, First Party Fraud, Authorized Fraud, etc.
n
- Implement the models and solutions of leading vendor such as Actimize, Experian, Socure, Verafin, etc. within pipelines.
n
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code in SQL, SAS and Python.
n




- Conduct code reviews and work with multiple stakeholders – model users, model owners, business teams, to understand data structure and flow to build dataset for developing Ongoing Monitoring Framework.
n

nWrite comprehensive Model Development documents post reviewing vendor materials, identifying gaps in information provided and interacting with vendor to procure information required.

nMust haves –

n

1. SAS, SQL and basic python knowledge.
n
2. Experience with data management, data cleaning, preparation of modeling datasets.
n
3. Ongoing Model Monitoring experience.
n
4. Basic Stats.
n

n

nGood to have – Fraud model development/validation experience with exposure to vendor models like VISA, Actimize, LexisNexis, etc.
