SAP VMS – JD / Role: SAP VMS Consultant / SAP Vehicle Management System Consultant Experience: 6–10+ years

Job Summary We are looking for an experienced SAP VMS Consultant with solid hands-on experience in SAP Vehicle Management System implementations, configuration, integration and support. The consultant will work on automotive business processes covering vehicle procurement, vehicle configuration, inventory, dealer sales, vehicle tracking and related SAP integrations.

Requirements

- Configure and support SAP Vehicle Management System (VMS / IS-A-VMS).
- Work on complete vehicle lifecycle processes from procurement to sales and delivery.
- Configure vehicle master data, vehicle models, variants, configurations and statuses.
- Handle vehicle procurement processes including purchase orders, goods receipt and vehicle availability.




- Support dealer and customer sales processes including sales orders, delivery, invoicing and vehicle assignment.
- Work with VMS actions, action control and action matrix.
- Configure and troubleshoot vehicle status, availability, location and history.
- Work with SAP Variant Configuration / Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC) for vehicle configuration. SAP confirms VMS integration with AVC in S/4HANA.
- Integrate VMS with SAP MM, SD, CS and FI/CO.
- Support interfaces with external systems, dealer portals and automotive applications.
- Work on VMS APIs/OData services and integration where required. SAP provides APIs for vehicle details, configuration, sales orders, purchase orders and invoices.
