We are looking for an experienced SAP Transportation Management (TM) Technical Consultant with 7+ years of experience in SAP TM technical development, Transportation Planning, TM objects, ABAP development, enhancements and integration. The candidate should have robust hands-on experience in SAP TM technical architecture and development, preferably in S/4HANA environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and support SAP TM technical solutions based on business requirements.
- Work extensively with SAP TM Transportation Planning processes and objects.
- Develop and enhance SAP TM functionalities using ABAP/OO ABAP.
- Work with core SAP TM objects including:
- Freight Orders (FO)
- Freight Units (FU)
- Transportation Requests (TRQ)
- Transportation Orders (TOR)
- Freight Bookings
- Charges / Charge Calculation
- Transportation Proposals
- Develop enhancements using BAdIs, BADIs, Enhancement Framework and custom ABAP.
- Work on Transportation Planning and Optimization scenarios.
- Develop and enhance interfaces between SAP TM and S/4HANA/ECC, SAP EWM, SAP EM and external systems.
- Work with Web Services, OData, REST/SOAP, IDoc and RFC integrations.
- Develop and troubleshoot ABAP reports, classes, function modules, interfaces and APIs.
- Perform debugging and technical issue resolution across SAP TM processes.
- Analyze performance issues and perform ABAP/SAP HANA performance tuning.
- Work with functional teams to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Prepare technical specifications, development documentation and test cases.
- Support SIT, UAT, integration testing and production support.
- Participate in SAP TM implementations, rollouts, upgrades and enhancements.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure SAP development standards are followed.
