SAP PP QM Support Consultant

Experience: 7-12 Years

We are looking for an experienced SAP PP QM Support Consultant with solid hands-on experience in SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM). The consultant will be responsible for providing L2/L3 production support, incident resolution, configuration, troubleshooting, enhancements, and continuous improvement of SAP PP and QM processes.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of SAP PP, SAP QM, production planning, shop-floor processes, quality inspection, quality notifications, batch management, and integration with MM/SD/WM/EWM.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide L2/L3 production support for SAP PP and QM modules.
- Analyze and resolve incidents, service requests, and production issues within defined SLAs.
- Troubleshoot functional issues and perform root-cause analysis (RCA).
- Configure and maintain SAP PP and QM functionality based on business requirements.
- Support production planning and execution processes.

- Support incoming, in-process, and final inspections.
- Configure and support defect recording and quality notifications.
- Support integration between PP, QM, MM, SD, and WM/EWM.
- Troubleshoot issues related to goods movements, inspection lots, stock postings, and production confirmations.
- Support batch management and batch determination where applicable.
- Analyze and resolve issues related to MRP, production orders, BOMs, routings, and capacity requirements.
- Support SAP master data such as Material Master, BOM, Work Center, Routing, Production Version, and QM master data.
- Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Work with technical teams for enhancements, reports, interfaces, forms, and workflows.
- Prepare functional specifications for required developments.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and UAT support.
- Coordinate with business users and key stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues.
- Prepare knowledge documents, SOPs, configuration documents, and RCA reports.
- Participate in continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.
