Role Name: SAP MM Master Data Specialist

Responsibilities:

1 Act as the focal point between the customer, site teams and remote delivery teams for SAP MM master data services.

2 Create, extend, change, validate, block and maintain material master records across required organizational levels and views.

3 Review material data requests for completeness, technical descriptions, classification, units of measure, manufacturer details, duplicate risk and approvals.

4 Support SAP MM data extraction, cleansing, mass upload, reconciliation, reporting and user acceptance testing.

5 Coordinate with Maintenance, Engineering, Procurement, Inventory, Warehouse, Finance and Operations teams to resolve material data issues.





6 Monitor request turnaround, data quality and backlog KPIs; provide concise status reports and mentor users on material master change requirements.

Must Have Skills:

- Engineering, Supply Chain, Materials Management or relevant technical qualification
- 5-10 years of experience in Oil & Gas, process industry or industrial materials management
- Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA MM using SAP GUI and Fiori
- Solid knowledge of material master views, material types, units of measure, valuation, purchasing, plant and storage-location data
- Experience creating, extending, changing, blocking and validating material master records
- Ability to interpret equipment details, data sheets, specifications, manufacturer information and Bills of Material
- Working knowledge of material classification, duplicate prevention, naming standards, approval workflows and audit controls

Good to have Skills:

- Maintenance spares, inventory, procurement or warehouse experience
- SAP data migration, mass upload or material cleansing exposure
- Experience working with offshore and cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of DataM8, Sphera or Power BI
