: SAP Middleware Developer

Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced SAP Middleware Developer to design, develop, and support integrations between SAP and non-SAP applications. The candidate will be responsible for building secure, scalable, and reliable interfaces using SAP middleware technologies such as SAP PI/PO, SAP Integration Suite, and Cloud Integration.The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in integration development, API management, interface monitoring, troubleshooting, testing, and production support.Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, configure, and maintain integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Develop interfaces using SAP PI/PO, SAP Integration Suite, and Cloud Integration.
- Work with integration technologies and protocols such as:
- IDoc
- RFC and BAPI
- SOAP and REST APIs
- OData
- SFTP and FTP
- HTTP and HTTPS
- JDBC
- AS2
- Develop integration flows, message mappings, operation mappings, routing rules, and adapter configurations.
- Create and configure integration objects in the Enterprise Services Repository and Integration Directory.
- Build and manage iFlows using SAP Cloud Integration.
- Develop graphical, Java, XSLT, and message mappings based on business requirements.
- Support API development, publishing, security, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
- Coordinate with SAP functional, ABAP, Basis, infrastructure, security, and business teams.
- Analyse functional requirements and translate them into technical integration solutions.
- Troubleshoot interface failures, message-processing errors, connectivity issues, and performance problems.




- Monitor interfaces and ensure timely resolution of production incidents.
- Perform root-cause analysis and implement permanent solutions for recurring integration issues.
- Support unit testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, regression testing, and performance testing.
- Prepare technical specifications, interface design documents, mapping documents, test cases, and deployment plans.
- Support transport management, cutover, go-live, and post-production hypercare activities.
- Ensure compliance with integration security, data protection, authentication, and authorization standards.
- Participate in migration and modernization initiatives from SAP PI/PO to SAP Integration Suite.

Required Skills and Experience

- Strong hands-on experience with SAP PI/PO and/or SAP Integration Suite.
- Experience developing interfaces between SAP and third-party applications.
- Robust understanding of integration patterns, middleware architecture, and message-processing concepts.
- Hands-on experience with IDoc, RFC, BAPI, SOAP, REST, OData, SFTP, JDBC, and HTTP adapters.
- Experience with message mapping, XSLT mapping, Java mapping, routing, and exception handling.
- Knowledge of XML, JSON, XSD, WSDL, XPath, and APIs.
- Experience with interface monitoring,



error handling, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
- Understanding of authentication mechanisms such as OAuth 2.0, Basic Authentication, certificates, and client credentials.
- Experience working with SAP modules such as SAP FI, MM, SD, HR, or Supply Chain applications.
- Knowledge of end-to-end integration development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Experience preparing technical documentation and interface specifications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with SAP BTP and SAP Integration Suite.
- Experience migrating interfaces from SAP PI/PO to SAP Cloud Integration.
- Knowledge of API Management, Event Mesh, Open Connectors, or Integration Advisor.
- Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA with cloud and third-party applications.
- Familiarity with Azure, AWS, MuleSoft, Boomi, or other enterprise integration platforms.
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, Git, automated deployment, and transport management.
- Knowledge of Groovy scripting in SAP Cloud Integration.
- Exposure to enterprise integration architecture and security standards.
- Experience supporting global implementation, transformation, carve-out, or migration programs.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Relevant SAP certification would be an advantage.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹3,493,109.12 per year
