Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP MDG Techno-Functional Consultant with 8+ years of SAP experience and solid hands-on expertise in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) and ABAP. The candidate should be capable of understanding business master-data requirements, designing MDG solutions, configuring MDG processes, and developing/enhancing technical solutions using ABAP.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather and analyze business requirements related to Master Data Governance.

- Design, configure and implement SAP MDG solutions for master data processes.

- Work on MDG Central Governance and master data workflows.

- Configure and support MDG processes for Material, Business Partner/Customer and Vendor master data.

- Configure data models, attributes, UI configurations, workflows, validations and derivations.

- Develop custom solutions and enhancements using ABAP/OO ABAP.

- Work with BAdIs, BADIs, BRF+, User Exits and enhancement frameworks.





- Develop and troubleshoot interfaces between MDG and SAP ECC/S/4HANA and non-SAP systems.

- Work with DRF (Data Replication Framework) and replication models.

- Configure and support MDG staging, change requests and approval workflows.

- Develop custom ABAP reports, classes, function modules and interfaces as required.

- Work on Web Dynpro/Fiori/UI enhancements related to MDG where applicable.

- Analyze and resolve MDG functional and technical issues.

- Perform debugging, root-cause analysis and performance optimization.

- Prepare functional specifications, technical specifications, configuration documents and test scripts.

- Coordinate with business users, functional teams and technical teams.

- Support SIT, UAT, deployment, cutover and production support.

- Participate in MDG implementation, rollout, migration and enhancement projects.
