Role: SAP FICO Consultant

Experience Required : 4-7 years

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with 4 years of hands-on expertise in SAP ECC to join our Mumbai-based team as a Consultant. You will play a key role in designing, configuring, and implementing integrated Finance & Controlling solutions across the entire FICO spectrum. This is an opportunity for client-facing consulting delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

● Design and configure FI-CO modules in SAP ECC/S4HANA environments covering General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Asset, Cost Center Accounting

● Lead requirements gathering sessions with clients to understand financial & cost accounting

● Develop detailed configuration blueprints for Chart of Accounts, GL accounts, cost centers, cost elements, and financial structures

● Configure financial accounting workflows including invoice processing, payment management, tax handling, and intercompany transactions

● Implement cost center accounting structures, cost allocation cycles, and internal cost transfer mechanisms

● Conduct fit to standard, gap analysis and prepare end-to-end solution design documents and technical specifications





● Perform data migration planning, validation, and testing for GL balances, fixed asset, AP/AR master data, and open documents

Required Qualifications:

● Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with SAP FICO environments

● Strong expertise in General Ledger (FI-GL), Fixed Asset (FXA) Accounts Payable (FI-AP), and Accounts Receivable (FI-AR)

● Understanding of Cost Center Accounting (CO-CCA), cost elements, and cost allocation methods

● Strong technical configuration skills: transaction codes, configuration tables, master data

● Experience with month-end close cycles, reconciliation procedures, and financial compliance

● Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, IT, or equivalent professional experience

Desired and Nice to have skills

● Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA (Private Cloud or Public Cloud)

● Familiarity with Fiori apps for FICO

● Understanding of Material Management (MM) and Sales & Distribution (SD) integration with FI-CO

● Previous consulting experience or boutique SAP implementation partner

● Certification in SAP FICO
