SAP FICO Bank Accounting Consultant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Bank Accounting Consultant with solid hands-on experience in SAP FI Bank Accounting, Electronic Bank Statement (EBS), Bank Reconciliation, Payment Processing, and integration with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger.

The consultant will be responsible for requirements gathering, configuration, implementation, testing, production support, and integration of SAP Bank Accounting processes with financial and banking systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure and support SAP FI Bank Accounting processes.
- Configure House Banks, Bank Accounts, Bank Account IDs, and Account Symbols.
- Configure and maintain Electronic Bank Statement (EBS) functionality.
- Configure bank statement processing for various formats such as:

- MT940

- BAI2

- CAMT

- ISO 20022
- Configure Posting Rules, Account Symbols, Transaction Types, and External Transaction Codes.
- Configure Bank Reconciliation and automated clearing processes.
- Support incoming and outgoing payment processes.
- Configure and support Automatic Payment Program (F110).
- Work on Electronic Payment / Payment Medium configuration.
- Support Bank Clearing Accounts and Bank GL Accounts.
- Configure Check Management and related payment processes where applicable.
- Support Cash Management and Liquidity Management integration.
- Work on Bank Account Management (BAM) and Manage Bank Accounts functionality in S/4HANA.
- Configure and support Cash Position and Cash Flow reporting.




- Support bank master data and business partner-related banking configurations.
- Analyze and resolve bank reconciliation and payment processing issues.
- Support automatic clearing and residual/open-item clearing.
- Configure integration between Bank Accounting and:

- Accounts Payable

- Accounts Receivable

- General Ledger

- Treasury

- Cash Management
- Work closely with banking interfaces and technical teams for payment and statement integrations.
- Participate in end-to-end implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support projects.
- Conduct requirement gathering and prepare functional specifications.
- Perform configuration, unit testing, integration testing, UAT, and production support.
- Prepare test scenarios, test scripts, configuration documents, and user guides.
- Provide root-cause analysis and resolution for production issues.
- Work with business users, banking teams, technical teams, and external banking partners.
