SAP BW / SAP ECC Consultant – Data & Databricks Integration

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced SAP BW / SAP ECC Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in SAP data and reporting environments, coupled with exposure to Databricks integration. You will bridge traditional SAP data structures with modern cloud platforms to enable reliable, scalable data for analytics and AI/ML initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain SAP BW and SAP ECC data solutions, models, InfoObjects, ADSOs, CompositeProviders, and queries.
- Manage data extraction, transformations, process chains, and data loading processes from SAP ECC into SAP BW and downstream platforms.
- Support the integration and pipeline design of SAP BW/ECC data into Databricks and modern cloud environments.
- Troubleshoot data extraction, reconciliation, and performance issues while writing SQL-based data transformations.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders to support SAP data modernization and migration initiatives.

Required Technical Skills

- SAP Core:



5+ years of experience in SAP Data & Analytics with robust proficiency in SAP ECC data structures and business processes.
- SAP BW: Hands-on expertise with InfoObjects, DSOs/ADSOs, InfoProviders, Transformations, DTPs, Process Chains, and reporting/query development.
- Integration & Cloud: Exposure to Databricks and SAP-to-Databricks data integration concepts.
- Data & SQL: Strong SQL skills and a solid understanding of enterprise ETL/ELT concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

- Hands-on experience integrating SAP BW/ECC with Databricks, Delta Lake, PySpark, or Azure Databricks.
- Knowledge of SAP extractors, ODP, CDS Views, SAP BW/4HANA, or SAP HANA SQL.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and reporting tools like Power BI or SAP Analytics Cloud.
