We are looking for an experienced SAP BTP RAP / CAPM Consultant with solid hands-on experience in ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) and SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP). The candidate should have experience developing cloud-ready applications and services on SAP BTP Cloud Foundry, with strong knowledge of CDS modeling, OData V4, REST APIs, and SAP HANA Cloud.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain applications using ABAP RAP and SAP CAP.
- Develop RAP business objects, behavior definitions, behavior implementations and service definitions.
- Build and expose services using OData V4 and REST APIs.
- Design and implement CDS data models, entities, associations and compositions.
- Develop applications using CAP Java and/or CAP Node.js.
- Develop cloud-native applications on SAP BTP Cloud Foundry.
- Work with SAP HANA Cloud for database design,
modeling and application development.
- Develop and consume APIs for integration with SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Implement RAP-based transactional applications and Fiori applications.
- Configure and deploy applications/services on SAP BTP.
- Work with authentication, authorization and security concepts on BTP.
- Perform application troubleshooting, performance optimization and debugging.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, architects and business stakeholders.
- Participate in design, development, unit testing, integration testing, deployment and production support.
- Prepare technical documentation and follow development and code-quality standards.
