Salesforce Developer Production Support & Development

Job Overview

NextEra Energy / Gexa Energy is looking for an experienced Salesforce Developer with strong hands-on experience in both Salesforce development and production support. The ideal candidate should be comfortable troubleshooting production issues, developing enhancements, working on integrations, and collaborating with business and technical teams.

Experience with Vlocity / Salesforce Industries / OmniStudio is a major advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, customize, and enhance Salesforce applications based on business requirements.
- Provide L2/L3 production support, troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.
- Develop and maintain Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, and test classes.
- Build and maintain Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Salesforce Flows.
- Develop and support integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and other integration technologies.
- Monitor production environments and resolve incidents within agreed SLAs.
- Participate in deployment, release management, and post-deployment validation activities.
- Analyze existing Salesforce functionality and recommend technical improvements.
- Collaborate with Salesforce Administrators, Architects, QA teams, business stakeholders, and offshore/onshore teams.
- Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge-transfer activities.
- Follow Salesforce development best practices, coding standards, security guidelines, and deployment processes.

Required Skills
- 8+ years of overall Salesforce experience,



preferably with strong hands-on development experience.

- Strong experience in Salesforce production support and troubleshooting.
- Experience with incident management, debugging, RCA, and defect resolution.
- Good experience with REST/SOAP APIs and Salesforce integrations.
- Experience with Salesforce deployments and release management.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security, sharing, profiles, roles, permission sets, and governor limits.
- Ability to work independently on production issues as well as development/enhancement requirements.

Work Schedule Shift: 5:00 PM – 1:00 AM IST

Candidates must be comfortable working consistently during this time to support the required business/production support window.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a Senior Salesforce Developer / Salesforce Technical Lead who can balance hands-on development and production support, independently troubleshoot complex Salesforce issues, and deliver new enhancements. Vlocity/OmniStudio or Energy & Utilities experience will be a strong advantage.
