POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a talented and passionate Frontend Developer to join our team and work on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) projects. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality, responsive storefront experiences - across traditional SFRA templates and/or headless PWA Kit (React) storefronts - that deliver engaging, personalized shopping journeys to our customers.

As a Frontend Developer, you will work closely with UX/UI designers, back-end/integration developers, and business stakeholders to translate designs and requirements into polished, accessible, and performant user interfaces. You will also follow best practices and standards to ensure code quality, performance, and scalability, in line with current SFCC composable/headless commerce trends in the India market.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design, develop, and implement responsive, high-performing storefront UI using SFRA, ISML, JavaScript (ES6+), and SCSS/CSS/Bootstrap, ensuring performance and reliability.
- Build and maintain headless/composable storefront features (PDP, PLP, Cart, Checkout) using PWA Kit and the Retail React App template, including Managed Runtime (MRT)



deployments.
- Build reusable UI components and templates aligned with SFCC's front-end architecture and design system.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes, mockups, and prototypes into pixel-perfect, accessible interfaces.
- Integrate front-end components with back-end services using RESTful web services, OCAPI/SCAPI, and custom cartridges; handle data mapping between SFCC and the React frontend.
- Optimize front-end performance, including page load speed, Core Web Vitals, lazy loading, and caching strategies.
- Monitor and act on code-quality tooling (e.g., SonarQube) to maintain high quality-gate scores and resolve vulnerabilities.
- Ensure cross-browser, cross-device, and responsive compatibility across the storefront.
- Debug and troubleshoot UI issues using browser developer tools, SFCC Business Manager, and other tools.
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and code deployment using Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins/GitHub Actions, and sfcc-ci automation.
- Collaborate with other developers, designers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in front-end development, headless commerce, and Salesforce Commerce Cloud.

Experience and Skills:

- Proficiency in SFCC front-end architecture, including SFRA and/or PWA Kit (React) templates and client side JavaScript
- Ability to implement customizations for complex business domains using ISML, JavaScript, HTML5/CSS3/SCSS, and Bootstrap
- Hands-on experience with React.js and headless/composable storefront development, including Managed Runtime (MRT), is highly preferred
- Familiar with responsive, mobile-first design and cross-browser compatibility best practices
- Familiar with web services and API integration using RESTful, OCAPI/SCAPI, and custom cartridges
- Working knowledge of Node.js and modern JS tooling/build pipelines
- Experience with code versioning and deployment tools such as Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins/GitHub Actions,



and CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with code-quality tools such as SonarQube
- Strong knowledge of web standards, accessibility (WCAG), and performance/Core Web Vitals best practices
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer certification is a plus

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 3 - 5 years of overall front-end/UI development experience, including at least 3-5 years hands-on with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFRA, ISML, JavaScript, SCSS/CSS) - required
- Hands-on experience with PWA Kit / React-based headless storefront implementations, and/or migration projects from SFRA to PWA Kit - preferred
