About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales & Marketing Manager to drive business growth in the refractory and ceramic materials segment across India. The role involves developing new business opportunities, managing key customer accounts, strengthening relationships with refractory manufacturers and end-user industries, and achieving sales and collection targets. The candidate should possess strong industry knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to travel extensively.

Candidate Preferences:

· 5–6 years of experience in Sales, preferably in the Refractory, Ceramic, Chemical, or High-Temperature Industry.

· Candidates with experience in dealing with reputed refractory manufacturers and processors will be preferred, including organizations such as:

o TRL Krosaki o Vesuvius o IFGL Refractories o RHI Magnesita o Maithan Ceramics

· Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

· Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).

· Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

· Ability to prepare reports, presentations, and market analyses.





· Knowledge of EXIM (Export-Import) processes will be an added advantage.

· Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.

· Educational Qualification (Not Mandatory): Preferably B.Sc./M.Sc. (Chemistry), Ceramic Engineering, Civil Engineering, Science Graduate, or Diploma in Ceramic/Civil Engineering. However, educational qualification is not a limiting factor for the right candidate.

Sales & Business Development

· Market and sell refractory and ceramic raw materials such as Alumina, Silica, Magnesia, Zircon, Mullite, and other virgin and recycled/secondary materials.

· Promote refractory monolithics including castables, acidic and basic ramming masses, mortars, and related products.

· Generate new business opportunities through customer acquisition and market development initiatives.

· Deepen relationships with existing customers to increase revenue and market share.

· Develop and maintain strong networks with decision-makers, technical teams, procurement departments, traders, and distributors.

Customer & Industry Engagement

· Coordinate with customers from industries such as steel plants, mini steel plants, DRI and pellet plants, cement plants, boilers, incinerators, and other high-temperature process industries.

· Regularly visit refractory manufacturers, processors, and end-user industries to identify opportunities and strengthen business relationships.

· Understand customer requirements and provide suitable product solutions.

Travel & Market Coverage

· Manage Pan-India sales activities and customer engagement.

· Travel extensively across India for business development, customer meetings, order follow-ups, and market expansion.

· International travel exposure and willingness to travel overseas will be an added advantage.
