Role & responsibilities

- Identify, generate, and develop new business opportunities for Background Verification (BGV) services.

- Acquire new clients through cold calling, networking, referrals, and market research.

- Build and maintain robust relationships with corporate clients, HR professionals, and decision-makers.

- Understand client requirements and propose customized BGV solutions.

- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, commercial quotations, and service agreements.

- Negotiate commercial terms and successfully close business opportunities.

- Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

- Coordinate with Operations and Client Servicing teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery.

- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify business opportunities.

- Maintain accurate sales pipeline, client database,



and business forecasts using CRM or internal systems.

- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term client retention.

Preferred candidate profile

- 3+ years of proven sales/business development experience in the Background Verification (BGV) industry.

- Strong understanding of BGV products, verification processes, and industry practices.

- Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.

- Strong business acumen with the ability to identify and convert new business opportunities.

- Self-motivated, result-oriented, and capable of working independently.

- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM applications.
