Position: Area Sales Manager (ASM) Industrial Sales

Location: Jharsuguda / Sambalpur, Odisha

Experience: 3–7 years

Role

Responsible for developing and expanding industrial sales in Odisha, particularly across Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Rourkela and surrounding industrial areas.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop business fromIron & Steel, Manufacturing, Power, Aluminium, EPC and Industrial Projects.
- Generate recent leads, enquiries and convert them into orders.
- Develop relationships with Purchase, Projects, Engineering and Maintenance teams.




- Conduct regular industrial visits and identify new projects/business opportunities.
- Manage customer/dealer relationships and achieve sales targets.
- Maintain customer and sales activities through CRM.
- Monitor competitors, market trends and upcoming projects.
- Coordinate with internal teams for quotations, orders and customer support.
- Submit regular sales and market reports.

Candidate Profile
- Diploma / B tech /MBA preferred.
- 3–7 years of Industrial / B2B Sales experience.
- Experience in Iron & Steel, Manufacturing, Engineering Products or Industrial Projects preferred.
- Strong industrial network in Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Rourkela, Sundargarh or Angul will be an advantage.
- Good communication, negotiation and business development skills.
- Willing to travel extensively for industrial customer visits.
- Must have four wheeler with Driving Licence
