As Sales Executive, you are the person every customer deals with at your outlet. You take care of each customer from the first point of contact, through quotation, order and production follow-up, all the way to delivery and payment. Alongside this, you actively market our products and services to bring in recent business, and you earn a sales incentive on top of your fixed salary.
A. Customer handling — first contact to delivery and payment
- First point of contact for all enquiries — walk-in customers, phone calls, WhatsApp and Gmail.
- You are the point of responsibility for every enquiry at your outlet: each one must be attended to or replied to on an urgent basis.
- Informing customers about the products and services we offer, and guiding them to the right option for their requirement.
- Preparing and sending quotations after consulting the relevant staff members, the site where required, and our price slabs.
- Work order status updates — keeping work order status current and keeping customers informed on the progress of their orders.
- Coordinating with the Manager to make sure works are completed and handed over to customers on time.
- Payment follow-up — making sure advances and balance payments are collected as per the outlet's payment terms.
B. Marketing and sales
- Actively marketing our products and services to new and existing customers through calls, WhatsApp, email and other digital outreach.
- Building long-term customer relationships and encouraging repeat business.
- Keeping the Manager regularly updated on sales activity and enquiries.
- Field marketing is not a regular part of this role. If you need to go out to meet a customer, discuss it with management beforehand — any allowance and instructions will be agreed with you at that time.
